Ten Foods Everyone Seems To Like But Me!

So, I’m going to preface this post with the fact that I am, indeed, a vegetarian. So…obvious stuff like hamburger…and bacon…I left off.

Now, in no specific order.

  1. Olives
  2. Beets…Although, in all honesty, I don’t think most people like these
  3. Ice Tea…remember, I grew up in the south, EVERYONE drinks sweet tea
  4. Mushrooms…GAG
  5. Beer…probably the only college student who doesn’t
  6. Fish or seafood…some vegetarians do, though I don’t count them as real vegetarians
  7. Soy milk…or soy ice cream…or soy cheese…
  8. Cottage Cheese…gag, again.
  9. Cooked Carrots…don’t get me wrong, I love carrots…just not cooked.
  10. Tofu…maybe the only vegetarian who doesn’t eat it…and don’t even try to tell me how great it is if it’s cooked right…’cause I’ve had it a good hundred times…and there is no such thing as tasty tofu.

  1. I agree with most except, I love olives, and will eat cottage cheese with pineapple, some saute’d mushrooms are palatable (sp?), and in some cases beer=bread!

btw, how did you insert the google+1 link?

    • Go under “tools” and then “sharing” and it gives you the option. Ehh I hate olives… absolutely disgusting. lol. Cottage cheese its kind of a texture thing. Ohh, so should have added Jello & pudding to this list…I KNEW I was missing something! OH and yogurt.

I could eat just olives for the rest of my life and be happy. I sometimes put olives on my cottage cheese. Cooked carrots are THE BEST with some Hibachi at a good Japanese place, and I love tofu dishes at Thai places (and Moe’s…)

I’m with you on the beer, though. Nasty stuff.

What do you think?
